We collaborated with Gabrielle Cyrielle, Holistic Nutritionist to create a recipe for a green smoothie with Water Lentil powder.
We wanted to develop an easy to make recipe to help you incorporate the Water Lentil into your diet. Gabrielle created us a 3 levels smoothie recipe. This recipe contains insoluble fiber to help intestinal transit and soluble fiber to nourish your microbiome. Thanks you Water Lentil!
-1 1/2 frozen bananas
-2 cups of frozen pears
-Juice of 1/2 lemon
-1 medjool date
-1 tbsp. of hemp seeds
-1/2 cup of water
-1 tbsp. of water lentil powder
-Put all the ingredients in a blender except the Water Lentil powder. Mix well. Set aside 1/3 of the mixture.
-Add the Water lentil powder to 2/3 of the mixture and mix again.
-To obtain a 2 colors smoothie, pour half of the mixture ''green'' in a glass. Pour the mixture ''white'' over it. Pour the rest of the ''green'' mixture on top. Be creative with the topping of your choice. (cocoa chips, hemp seed, pumpkin seeds, grated coconut).
